A December for The Doomed
I’m not sure what bit me, why it became such a passion project all of a sudden. I’ve been excited about The Doomed: Apocalyptic Horror Hunting for a while, and planning a campaign with a friend. But momentum felt stalled. I think I was stuck, as we often are, with the pressure of perfection. I wanted to build and paint a bunch of cool stuff to make this game memorable, to share with the world, and I didn't think I could do it justice. Written by Chris McDowell and published by Osprey Games , the game has a simple but evocative premise. A world that fulfilled grimdark fantasy tropes was invaded by a science-fiction capitalistic Company, abused by extractive industry and uncontrolled misused science, then abandoned once the expedition was no longer profitable.
